Mon, 26 Jan 2026 Two charities get £300k to support older residents

Independent Age has given £149,997 to Citizens Advice Swale and £150,000 to Age UK East Sussex.
- £149,997 to Citizens Advice Swale (Kent) to support older residents in financial hardship and improve their homes. - £150,000 to Age UK East Sussex for the same purpose. The funding is designed to help vulnerable groups such as private renters who are at risk of financial hardship.
