Annual inflation in Guernsey sees a drop of 1.2% on the year before, according to latest figures.
Fuel prices saw the largest increase over the past year, rising by 6.3%, while catering costs increased by 6%. Personal goods and services also rose by 5.7%.
In contrast, some costs decreased over the quarter to December, including a 2.7% drop in fares and other travel. Housing costs increased by 1%, mainly due to higher mortgage payments.
Other price changes reported include:

* No change in tobacco product prices (due to pending excise duty changes)
* Taxi fares increased, but were offset by Christmas offers
* Some seasonal pricing may have contributed to the 2.7% drop in travel costs
