The increase was fuelled by the prices of food, leisure, motoring and household services, Jersey Statistics says.
- Jersey's retail price index (RPI) increased by 2.8% last year, driven by higher prices in food, leisure, motoring, and household services.
- Some shopping basket items like bacon, cereals, and processed fish became cheaper last year.
- Leisure services made the largest contribution to the annual rate of inflation, increasing by 5.2%.
- Fares and travel costs rose 5.6%, while motoring costs increased by 4.3% and household service bills went up 3.3%.
- The cost of household goods decreased in 2025.
- The overall RPI remained at 2.8% between September and December last year.
