Instagram's longtime lead Adam Mosseri arrived on Wednesday at a courtroom in Los Angeles.
Adam Mosseri, head of Instagram and top Meta executive, testified in court on Wednesday in an ongoing trial over allegations that Instagram intentionally promotes addiction and harms young users. Mosseri was questioned by lawyers for six hours as part of a landmark case examining the mental health effects of social media platforms Instagram and YouTube. The trial is expected to last six weeks and may set a precedent for thousands of similar cases against tech firms in the US, including those brought by state prosecutors and school districts.
