Employers added a greater than expected 130,000 jobs in January, according to the latest figures.
* US added 130,000 jobs in January, more than expected
* Unemployment rate fell to 4.3%
* Average hourly earnings rose 3.7% over the last year
* Job growth was driven by healthcare and construction sectors
* Federal government and financial sector shed roles
* Labor Department revised down previous estimates of job additions for November and December, finding 17,000 fewer jobs than previously estimated
