The Solicitors Regulation Authority say an investigation into PM Law's collapse is ongoing.
* Tens of thousands of live cases have been impacted by the sudden closure of PM Law, a major law firm with 24 offices across Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Cumbria, and Berkshire.
* The firm closed on February 2 without warning, leaving hundreds of employees out of work and many clients stranded mid-transaction, including in the middle of house sales.
* The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) intervened after the closure and has issued emergency grants to affected clients and contacted over 100 clients with urgent matters.
* The SRA has taken possession of files and money held by PM Law, including clients' funds, and is working to identify and contact affected clients.
* Clients are being prioritized based on urgency, with several emergency grants already made to allow clients to complete house sales.
* Over 50 applications have been received for the SRA's compensation fund, with some emergency payments now underway.
* The SRA investigation into PM Law continues, with the authority working quickly to gather relevant information.
* Clients affected by PM Law's closure can contact Gordons LLP, the intervention agent appointed by the SRA, for support.
