* Fined $20,000 and suspended from the platform for 2 years
Case 2: Kyle Langford
* Ran for California governor last year
* Placed bets on his own candidacy on Kalshi's platform
* Violated Kalshi's rules that prohibit political candidates from betting on their own elections
* Fined over $2,000 and suspended from the platform for 5 years
