The Hornets are six points adrift from safety and will need to secure significant wins against top-half teams Crystal Palace and Newcastle to have any chance of survival. Manager Roy Hodgson has been appointed on an interim basis after Claudio Ranieri's sacking, but the former England boss concedes it is a 'tall order' for Watford to stay up given their current position in the table. Watford would need teams above them to drop points and win their remaining games themselves, with Hodgson admitting 'mathematically speaking, we've got no chance'.
