Start-ups are offering tech for novices to create apps with the help of AI.
* Kineto's tool uses a sequence of building, testing, and refining similar to traditional software development, requiring 10 iterations on average to get a good result.
* The apps created using Kineto run in the browser and can be distributed by sharing links, with no need for download or installation.
* The founder of Kineto, Andrew Zakonov, believes that app creation will become increasingly accessible to non-technical users, but it may take some time before it becomes as simple as he envisions (e.g. half an hour to make a basic app).
* Jules Goldberg, founder of Reviva Softworks and developer of the popular SnoreLab app, has mixed views on AI-powered app creation, seeing both benefits and limitations.
* Goldberg believes that while AI tools can simplify app creation, they may not be able to replicate the depth and complexity of human-created apps, and established developers will still have a market advantage.
