Drivers have seen weeks of increases as the US-Israeli war with Iran pushed up wholesale oil prices.
* Petrol and diesel prices have fallen slightly for the first time since the US-Israel war with Iran.
* Diesel has dropped by 0.6p, while petrol has decreased by 0.3p over the past two days.
* Current prices: just below 191p a litre for diesel and just under 158p a litre for petrol.
* Filling up with diesel is still £26 more expensive than in late February, while petrol is nearly £14 more.
* Further price falls expected as wholesale costs remain below recent peaks.
* Fuel prices have increased by around 20-30% over the past six weeks due to the conflict in the Gulf.
* 75% of people surveyed reported fuel prices as a reason for increased living costs, according to the Office for National Statistics.
* Experts warn that low-income and insecure workers are particularly vulnerable to rising costs.
