Thu, 07 May 2026 Average house price falls by 5%, report shows

The cost of an average island property is down from almost £600,000 at the start of 2025.

* Average house price in Jersey has fallen by 5% over the past year to £569,000
* Number of properties sold dropped by 1% and was 10% lower than in Q4 2025
* House Price Index (HPI) remains 18% below its peak recorded in Q3 2022
* Private rental sector saw a net decrease of 19 rental units during the quarter
* 49 properties were previously rented, while 30 were purchased for rental use
