The advertising watchdog said the adverts featuring top footballers had a strong appeal to under-18s.
* Two Instagram adverts featuring Harry Kane and Erling Haaland were banned by the UK's advertising watchdog (ASA) for being "irresponsible".
* The ASA said the ads breached their code because they featured two football stars with a strong appeal to under-18s.
* Oddschecker, which posted the images, claimed the posts were primarily editorial in nature and set its account to 18-plus, but the ASA found that many children had not used their real age when signing up to Instagram.
* The ASA dismissed Oddschecker's defence and concluded that the ads were irresponsible and breached the code.
* Another Instagram ad featuring Thierry Henry did not break the ASA's rules as Henry is unlikely to appeal strongly to under-18s.
