Citizens Advice Guernsey says housing and cost of living pressures have increased demand.
* Demand for Citizens Advice Guernsey's services rose by 2% in 2025, with 3,043 clients supported compared to 2,991 in 2024.
* Almost 5,700 separate issues were dealt with in 2025, up from around 5,400 in 2024.
* The average time spent with each client increased from 51 minutes to 54 minutes, equivalent to an extra 150 hours of adviser time.
* Housing was the single biggest driver behind demand, accounting for over 1,000 cases and affecting 474 clients.
* Rental housing was a particularly difficult area, exacerbated by a chronic shortage of social housing.
* Employment issues ranked as the second-most common area of concern, followed by legal and family matters.
* The charity warned that the cost-of-living crisis is likely to continue driving demand upwards, impacting those who are already struggling.
