Eleri Williams started out selling her dad's old football shirts and has just opened her own shop.
Eleri Williams, an 18-year-old university student from Aberdare, made over £35,000 by reselling vintage football shirts online and has now opened a shop in Cardiff's Royal Arcade. She started selling her dad's old shirts three years ago to make some extra money for online shopping and other expenses. The business quickly took off, with Eleri buying more shirts from suppliers around the world and eventually opening a physical store. Her profits will help fund her law degree at Cardiff University, which she hopes to attend without any debt. According to recent data, many young people are turning to side hustles to help cover education costs and living expenses. Eleri's experience is an example of how a side hustle can become a successful business, allowing her to travel and meet other entrepreneurs while also achieving her academic goals.
