* A multi-million dollar luxury home in Singapore has been seized by police as part of an investigation into alleged smuggling of Nvidia AI chips.
* The property was purchased for 55 million Singapore dollars, with at least two-thirds of the purchase price allegedly funded by illicit earnings.
* The owner, Wei Zhaolun (also known as Alan Wei), will be charged with money laundering for using around 38 million Singapore dollars of criminal proceeds to fund the purchase of the house.
* Authorities have also seized around one million Singapore dollars held in bank accounts and four individuals, including Wei, have been accused of fraud and other crimes linked to the case.
* The police said that the servers were bought from three suppliers - Dell, Super Micro Computer and Asus - and that the case is the first instance of corporate entities being prosecuted under these investigations.
* If convicted, the four individuals could face up to 20 years in jail.
* Singapore-based tech companies, Luxuriate Your Life and three firms under the Aperia Group, also face charges in connection with the case.
