The signatories argue that they can afford to contribute more to the economy and believe that this would lead to a more equal society. The group, organized by Patriotic Millionaires, believes that this move would allow for investment in essential public services and infrastructure. However, Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch has responded with skepticism, suggesting that individuals can voluntarily donate to the Treasury if they wish to pay more tax.
