The woman who found the chocolate bar during a house clearance compares it with today's Mars Bars.
The bar, which weighed 62.5g, was nearly as big as the hand of Victoria Gordon, who runs the cleaning service that discovered it. In comparison, today's Mars Bars weigh only 40g. A spokesperson for Mars, Incorporated said that the company has made updates to its bar sizes and pack formats over the years in response to consumer demand and external factors such as manufacturing costs and cocoa prices.
