People on hold to HMRC for more than 30 minutes would get a tax credit under plans announced by Robert Jenrick.

* Pay of senior HMRC officials tied to customer service targets
* Tax credit limited to two occasions per tax year to prevent abuse
* Average call waiting times for HMRC now around 11 minutes, with 80% of interactions taking place digitally
* Reform UK pledges to scrap UK privacy rules and replace with "light-touch" approach modeled on New Zealand's legislation
