Lawyers for Linda Kitchen say her husband was "fatally injured" after the flight dropped 6,000 ft.

* Linda Kitchen, 74, and her husband Geoff, 73, were on a Singapore Airlines flight from London Heathrow to Singapore when severe turbulence caused them to drop around 6,000 ft.
* Geoff was "fatally injured" during the incident and died two days after the plane landed in Bangkok for an emergency landing.
* Linda suffered a broken back and spent 10 days in hospital before being airlifted back to Bristol. She required significant assistance at home after her discharge.
* The couple's lawyers have begun legal action against Singapore Airlines, seeking damages to help Linda access specialist support for her back.
* Anthe Korelidou, the lawyer representing Kitchen, said that Geoff was fatally injured and Linda suffered severe injuries, highlighting the severity of what happened.
