Clothing Coventry has helped provide thousands of children with second-hand school uniform.
* A charity scheme in Coventry provided over 15,000 free school uniform items to families in need.
* Over 2,700 children were helped by the scheme, with an average cost savings of £69 per family.
* The charity distributed a total of 4,659 brand-new items, including blazers and PE kits, as well as pre-loved and donated clothing.
* Demand for certain items, such as blazers and logoed PE kits, exceeded supply in some cases.
* The scheme was supported by Coventry Building Society and was able to provide uniforms to all families who attended the events.
* One parent praised the charity's service, saying it had taken away a lot of financial stress and made it possible for their children to attend school with the necessary uniforms.
