Mon, 14 Sep 2026 Amazon pauses work with cargo firm after fatal crash

The 21 Air-operated jet overshot a runway at Miami International Airport and hit several vehicles.
The Boeing jet operated by 21 Air overshot the runway at Miami International Airport on September 6, causing significant damage and loss of life. Five others were injured in the incident. Amazon says it has been cooperating with authorities to investigate the crash, which is being led by the US National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB). The company's spokesperson said that safety is Amazon's top priority, both in its own operations and when working with partners. 21 Air had previously expressed devastation over the accident and was cooperating with investigators to determine the cause of the crash.
