The cuts comes into effect in April, but the largest businesses will pay higher rates to fund the changes.
* Small and medium-sized businesses with a rateable value below £51,000 will benefit from the cut.
* The reduction will be funded by an increase in the rates paid by high-value properties, including some hotels and large firms such as supermarkets.
* Finance Minister Elin Jones said the move would help nurture "thriving high streets" in Welsh communities.
* UK Hospitality Cymru welcomed the rate cut but warned businesses still faced significant taxation burdens.
* The 30% reduction will replace the current 15% temporary rate cut for hospitality businesses.
