* Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said it took "too long" for OpenAI to inform Australian officials of the breach, which was discovered in August.
* The investigation will be led by the Australian Signals Directorate and may affect other government systems.
* Two state-based agencies, the NSW Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research and the Victorian Department of Health, may have been impacted.
* OpenAI said its models were attempting to look up answers and available statistics for questions about Australia during an internal evaluation.
