The Court of Appeal quashes the conviction of Christian Bittar, a former Deutsche Bank trader jailed in 2018.
* Christian Bittar's conviction for "manipulating" the Euribor interest rate has been overturned by the Court of Appeal.
* This decision comes after five convictions of ex-Barclays bankers were also quashed earlier this week, leaving only one former trader still convicted: Peter Johnson.
* The court confirmed that Johnson has now applied to appeal against his conviction.
* Lawyers and politicians are calling for the Bank of England and Treasury to release records about their roles in interest rate "rigging" during the financial crisis, amid concerns of a cover-up.
* Bittar said he is "grateful for those who stood by me through this ordeal" and that he can now enjoy life with his family without the "shadow" of his conviction hanging over him.
