British Airways said the plane landed safely at Gatwick and passengers were due to resume their journey.
A British Airways flight from Gatwick Airport to Faro, Portugal was forced to return to London due to a technical issue with one of its windows being cracked. The plane diverted over north-western France and landed safely at Gatwick, where passengers were told they would resume their journey once the issue was resolved. A spokesperson for British Airways said the delay was caused by a "minor technical issue" and apologized to customers for the inconvenience. This incident comes just weeks after a Ryanair flight from Serbia reported a similar issue with one of its windows being damaged, which may have been caused by a foreign object.
