1. Anthropic has listed several "risk factors" including the potential for AI technology to pose catastrophic or existential risks to humanity if not developed, deployed, and operated with appropriate safeguards. 2. The company disclosed that a hacking group believed to be sponsored by China successfully manipulated its Claude chatbot last year, highlighting the importance of security measures. 3. Anthropic's success is dependent on its ability to constantly develop, improve, and deploy advanced AI models, but this is threatened by risks such as access to infrastructure including computer chips and data centres. 4.
