Tue, 27 Oct 2026 Apple says it will replace iPhone Duo handsets with screen problems

Photos shared online showed faults appearing on the screens of Apple's first foldable device.
Some users reported seeing lines on the screens, while others experienced cracks along the centre crease or a crunching noise when opening the device. Apple did not disclose how many devices were affected. Justin Lokos, an iPhone Duo user, posted photos showing a line across his phone's display and later showed off a new replacement handset provided by an Apple store in New York. The issue is similar to those experienced with Samsung's Galaxy Fold, a rival foldable smartphone.
