The chancellor will axe tariffs on some staples as part of plans to give households "breathing space".
* Import taxes on marmalade, gherkins and over 100 products will be removed.
* Tariffs on family favourite products including pasta, fruit juice and tuna will remain suspended.
* The so-called "cliff-edge" for those receiving carer's allowance payments will end.
* Higher tax-free mileage rates will become permanent (55p per mile for up to 10,000 miles, rising to 35p above that).
* A taper mechanism will replace the existing earnings limit for carers.
* Self-employed fathers will receive two weeks of paternity pay (up to £194 a week).
* Hundreds of additional Post Office drop boxes will be rolled out to make sending parcels easier.
* Fuel duty will be frozen again in the Budget, and the 5p duty discount will continue.
