* Royal Mail has released its annual Christmas stamps featuring scenes from the Nativity.
* The series of five stamps was jointly created by graphic designer Gareth Howat and illustrator Rebecca Sutherland.
* The stamps depict familiar scenes, including Mary and Joseph traveling, baby Jesus, an angel, shepherds, and the Three Wise Men.
* This year's collection marks the 60th anniversary of the first-ever Christmas special stamp.
* Royal Mail hopes the new stamps will "add an extra touch of festive magic" to letters sent home and abroad.
