Wed, 04 Nov 2026 Swim and gym prices set to rise above inflation

The rises would impact Perdiswell, St John's Sports Centre and Nunnery Wood Sports Complex.

* Fitness class fees would increase by 5.6% to £9.50.
* Annual membership prices would go up by 4.9%.
* Hiring the artificial pitch at Perdiswell would cost 10% more, from £44 an hour.
* Average fee at Perdiswell Leisure Centre would increase by 5.3% from January if councillors approve new prices.
* Increases would also apply to St John's Sports Centre and Nunnery Wood Sports Complex, both owned by Freedom Leisure.
